Making friends everywhere I go. This little one was quite curious. Maybe I was the biggest fish she had ever seen… maybe she just wanted pictures taken too… one can only wonder.
Enjoying the Great Lakes even if it was a bit cold this day… nothing can keep a mermaid out of the water!

It has been fascinating to come ashore and learn stories of the ships that have sailed and sunk on the coasts of Michigan. Thanks to places like this, many souls were rescued when storms arose. The cold fresh waters of the Great Lakes have hidden, and preserved, these lost treasures throughout time for us to dive in and discover.

What a delight it is to be featured by FinFun Mermaid! This was my first time trying one of their tails and I must say, I am in love! I think soon I will need one of my own. At the top of the state of Michigan in Mackinaw City you can find the Mackinac Bridge, connecting the upper and lower peninsulas and where Lake Michigan and Lake Huron meet. The Mackinac Bridge is the 10th largest suspension bridge (over water) in the world, and was build between 1954 and 1957. For my adventures on land I am in Mertailor leggings. I love light houses, so decided while in Michigan to do a little tour around the state and find a few, as there are over 100 to discover along the coasts of the Great Lakes! While there I got to try a FinFun tail for the first time and must say, I love it!

I stayed at an old water mill, so there was plenty of water to play in!

Furmaid Lili and I made our way back to Florida for the Mermaids and Margaritas Festival as part of the Mertailor crew in Crystal River. There were lots of Artist there as well mermaids, so if you missed this year, be sure to join us next time!
