New Ukulele

I visited Elderly Instruments today and found this beauty.

Did not expect to bring her home, but somehow found myself unable to leave without her.

I suppose that is how it goes with these sort of things… when you know it is the one, you listen to the calling.

Crystal River Manatee

Had a spontaneous adventure today to the Crystal River to visit the Three Sisters Springs with my scuba dive instructor. It is the off season for manatee, but he was once a guide on these rivers and so we were blessed to find a few along the way, including a mama and baby. Thanks to Derek for the reflections of our journey!

First Scuba Lesson

Made it out into the storm to a nearby dive shop.
Trying on wet-suits to get a feel for the right one for me.
I liked this one out of today’s options, although might be a little big…
While I did end up getting the wetsuit, they also offered me a great discount on a class, so…
I just took my beginners class to scuba… I have a new love!
Now I can be underwater and breathe!
What a wonderful spontaneous day!
