Lighthouse love. They simply enchant me. I believe a lighthouse would be the perfect home for a mermaid on land. One must dream!
Last stop here at The Manistee North Pierhead Lighthouse before I return to the waters, and swim onward to the next journey.

The Old Presque Isle Lighthouse upon Lake Michigan. It is a lovely hike to her from the port, or if you have a fin swim right up from the shoreline.

Making friends everywhere I go. This little one was quite curious. Maybe I was the biggest fish she had ever seen… maybe she just wanted pictures taken too… one can only wonder.
Enjoying the Great Lakes even if it was a bit cold this day… nothing can keep a mermaid out of the water!

Climbed my first lighthouse… and so did Lili too! Something to check off the bucket list! Shall be the start of many I do believe. There are over 100 here just on the coasts of Michigan!
I love light houses, so decided while in Michigan to do a little tour around the state and find a few, as there are over 100 to discover along the coasts of the Great Lakes! While there I got to try a FinFun tail for the first time and must say, I love it!
