Lighthouse love. They simply enchant me. I believe a lighthouse would be the perfect home for a mermaid on land. One must dream!

Sleeping Bear Point Maritime Museum
It has been fascinating to come ashore and learn stories of the ships that have sailed and sunk on the coasts of Michigan. Thanks to places like this, many souls were rescued when storms arose. The cold fresh waters of the Great Lakes have hidden, and preserved, these lost treasures throughout time for us to dive in and discover.

What a delight it is to be featured by FinFun Mermaid! This was my first time trying one of their tails and I must say, I am in love! I think soon I will need one of my own. I love light houses, so decided while in Michigan to do a little tour around the state and find a few, as there are over 100 to discover along the coasts of the Great Lakes! While there I got to try a FinFun tail for the first time and must say, I love it!
