At the top of the state of Michigan in Mackinaw City you can find the Mackinac Bridge, connecting the upper and lower peninsulas and where Lake Michigan and Lake Huron meet. The Mackinac Bridge is the 10th largest suspension bridge (over water) in the world, and was build between 1954 and 1957. For my adventures on land I am in Mertailor leggings. It is my dream to someday volunteer at the Clearwater Aquarium in Florida, a rescue center for marine life, and the home to the world famous dolphins Winter and Hope. I felt so honored to meet the senior marine mammal trainer at the @cmaquarium, Camelle Zodrow, and look froward to returning and connecting in more come the perfect moment. I could have stayed and watched the dolphins interact for days on end, yet alas the aquarium closed and it was time to go.
I have long awaited to visit the Clearwater Aquarium, and this was finally the moment! Come along as we explore all there, and the rescued animals. Meet Winter from the movie Dolphin Tale and Hope from Dolphin tale 2. I so hope to return one day and volunteer. It would be a dream come true!

We visit the Mertailor Shop in Crystal River, Florida, to pickup a new Guppy tail for the little Mermaid Elle, and get leggings and a top for me from the new line! I am also so excited to get to pickup the Fantasea Tail Skin for my fin. While there we get a little instruction on how to insert the Fantasea Fin into the silicone skin. The Florida Springs Mermaids are hosting a mini meetup at Ginnie Springs on August 25th, with special Guest Hannah Mermaid, world famous mermaid, activist, and professional underwater model, and Brett Stanley, an award winning, international underwater photographer.
Arrive by 11am to join group photo at noon. Location at Ginnie Springs by Turkey Roost Pavillion.
INFO: We reserved the Turkey Roost Pavillion for the FSM. Meet Up will be held rain or shine!
This will be our common Meet Up place. It’s near The Devils Eye but we can swim anywhere.

While in Florida I received the gift upon my path of finding my dream tail…
and unexpectedly got to bring her home and make her mine.
Long ago I had a dream one night of a pearl like water world, where I swam as one with the ocean life.
I have never forgot this dream and finding this tail was pure magic!
She is the tail from my dream.
Usually the Mertailor’s tail are made to order, but this one was the first made in this line to see how the new fin would work.
Simple in her tone compared to most of The Mertailor’s intricate detailed work, but truly as I would have envisioned her.
Here I share the video of my first time trying her on. It was a bit of a challenge and took some time. I had tried her on once at the store, but did not fully get my feet into the pockets, until this day.
This tail weighs a bit more then the latest designs, so I will definitely need Mertenders to help me get into it and around, while enjoying her, as well work on the strength to flip my fin, but I am so grateful to have this beauty as my own!
